Pros

- competent peers and great group of people to work with - the name/value of the pwc brand - good clients - the work can sometimes be challenging (in a good way), but is often not - variety of projects - i truly believe that (some of) my partners care about me and my career - professional and respectful work environment

Cons

- pay! - work/life balance (though i think this is possible if you REALLY make an effort at it and let everyone you work with know your priorities) - recent downturn in focus on training and connectivity, which i believe has led to a decrease in morale overall

Pros

Excellent balance of work and personal life. Excellent for new grads, people new to the business or doing the studies and people looking for comfortable position to end their career and retire. Great brand name that sells you.

Cons

Advancement extremely limited and rewards are below median. Very political.

Pros

Respected name, great colleagues Everyone benefits somehow from working for PwC

Cons

low pay NO TRAINING BUDGET? YOU MUST BE KIDDING... Salary freeze??? a 3% inflation rate increase for all employees would have cost partners an 0.1% pay cut of their average £800K /annum salary Lots of travel for the salary with no extra pay for being away from home 200+ days a year Low Bonuses if any Still an Accounting firm, to compete in consulting PwC should invest in people as much as Mckinsey does. PwC Diploma?? costs as much as an MBA... to learn about soft skills, a joke of a degree. Only recognised at PwC UK... are partners worried that people would leave afterwards if they sponsor an MBA? then they should pay competitively
