Pros

Some great people in the gym, if you enjoy fitness you can meet some great people and change lives (but this is in your own business not working for puregym)

Cons

-15 hours unpaid work - When I first started this could be used to build your business but when new management took over it was 3 hours of cleaning and 2 hours of classes. -No sick pay or time off (If you cannot do a shift rest assured you will have to make it back) -Poor treatment by management who behave like they are above you. -Management have favourites who they will pass the leads on to, if they don't take them and train them theirselves. -Very high staff turnover. -Unhappy workforce. -Shifts will be changed without consideration to the trainers personal obligations.

Pros

Talented people working towards the same goals; to help members improve their health and well-being and give great service. Loads of fun plus development opportunities. No stuffy gym snobs, just normal people who love fitness.

Cons

None yet, I enjoy what we do.

Pros

Puregym as a company are very strong but are let down from a employee point of view by some clicks within some of the regions. Covering up shocking behaviours, unqualified manager Personal training. Then forcing out hard workers.

Cons

AGM role is the same as the GM role but with half the bonuses (when targets are realistic) and a £10000 per year wage difference. The company rewards key board warriors that claim to do hard work and not the individuals that truly work hard. You need to be in a click to advance within puregym. Puregym is no longer about great quality staff (managers) that are qualified Personal trainers providing a great member experience.
