Pros

Company has great culture, vision, location, competitive industry pay, growth. Very skilled team to learn from. Views, recreational activities, community philanthropic events.

Cons

Can’t think of any if I had to. I guess I can complain that it’s too good or that there is a long wait to get into into the elevator.

Information Services - What a mess

Pros

On paper, their mission is good.

Cons

Information Services has the most toxic culture of any place I ever worked. We had several major leadership changes over the span of about 18 months. Each change has somehow brought in leadership that is more thin-skinned and spiteful than the last. There is no opportunity for career advancement. There is also no expectation of performance. Reviews are a joke and 1:1s are simply an opportunity for plattitudes. There is no attempt to hire knowledgable people because leadership simply doesn't care. Their only concern is metrics. It doesn't matter if a nurse needs something in a timely manner; all that matters is metrics. Message received. Nobody on the team cares. Those that cared have left in frustration.
