Pros

Good emphasis on work/life balance. Health insurance has strong coverage. Many people tend to work here for long streches of their careers and its not uncommon for those who leave to come back.

Cons

The religious emphasis can be offputting if that bothers you. Its never forced on anyone and you can always just ignore it, but do know that its more visible here than many other places (for example, different hospitals are referred to as "ministries"). Also, this is a large organization with many hospitals, so it does not implement anything quickly.

Pros

One of the strengths of Providence is its commitment to teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration. Many units foster a culture where nurses’ voices are heard, and leadership is approachable

Cons

Staffing and workload can vary by unit and location, as is common in large healthcare systems. At times, nurses may experience high patient acuity and fast-paced demands, which can be challenging.
