Pros

Very good people to work with, Management as a rule are concerned about the employees well being, although they have to bow to uppermanagements catering to the "we are a fine hotel" way of thinking

Cons

We need to forget trying to make people feel like they are in a fine hotel and do our jobs, we are to understaffed to give safe care and be maids as well.

Pros

Providence has a great mission and really tries to accomplish it. The senior leadership are very good at communicating down the plans they have for Providence. The benefit package is pretty good and the people are overall very nice.

Cons

Providence is the largest private employer in Oregon. With size comes some bureaucracy. Things are sometimes slow to change within. However, I think for a large company Providence is faster than average.
