Pros

Good pay and benefits. Pretty good orientation. Great training for management. Great continuing education opportunities. Many perks

Cons

VERY Catholic environment. Upper level management not as supportive to non Christians. Many divisions are Union affiliated. Very concious of public identity. Take great pains to maintain reputation.

Pros

Staff is supportive, skilled, and take care of one another. Just pick a unit that does not have a villian for manager--might be hard

Cons

Many changes---Managers and Directors selected by who you know, not by skills and experience. One in place, not mentored meaning the front line staff deal with the fallout. Upper administration--totally ingrown, incestuous! Worthless.

Pros

Covenient and benefits are adequate

Cons

Management in Lubbock is not much more than overpaid seat warmers, all decisions are made in California and no one in Lubbock has the guts to stand up for anything.
