I really enjoyed my time at PMI. The employees are great and fun to work with. The pay is decent. The benefits are outstanding.

Cons

HR & management seem to be wrapped up in being politically correct in all aspects. They need to loosen up and relax a little.

PMI is financially sound and continues to grow. No layoffs. Great benefits and flexible working arrangements. There is a commitment to professional development and the organization is getting better at public recognition for outstanding achievement. We see people get promoted from within or move to other positions in a different area of the business as development opportunities. Staff is dedicated to members, volunteers and credential holders.

Cons

Being a global organization, there is little downtime - when the US is sleeping, Asia is awake. When the US has a holiday, Europe or the Middle East are working. Email never stops. A collaborative culture means many people are involved in all decisions, which can be frustrating for some people who are used to working in silos or making independent decisions.
