Pros

You work along side individuals that often share the same beliefs as you do and care for the mission. You get to change individual's lives and assist in a unique specialty that works for their patients. The CEO is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. She cares for everyone that works in her company and is completely dedicated to the mission. The benefits are good, and some people you meet here will be your life-long friends.

Cons

Your experience here will be dependent on what location you work at. Upper leadership is often spread so thin that there is little support when absolutely needed. The culture among the staff is TOXIC, angry, and negative. You will be bullied by your staff. Anytime you ask for help, you will be given the same cookie-cutter line that you "just need more training." Very little to no opportunity to promote. You have to be very well-liked by members of upper leadership to move upward. No one listens to feedback from the clinics. They say they will, but they never do. Your job will make you want to scream and pull your hair out. The majority of days will be rough and there are always a million of fires to put out. Things always seem to be messy, and processes are a huge headache. Almost nothing is easy to complete and takes a lot of mental gymnastics and you often have to go back and readjust tasks over and over again. Tons of back and forth with decisions and plans of action. Plans will change every other day and will create mountains of work to correct or readjust. The staff hate the inconsistency, and some policies are so vague that it is open to tons of different interpretations. In turn, this creates inconsistency in policy enforcement from clinic to clinic.

Pros

Mission-driven. Work-life balance because you don’t take work home.

Cons

CMO is out of touch with what occurs in clinics. Have no say in your schedule. The head of HR is a bully
