Pros

Excellent product and market position, growing rapidly in North America. Espresso machine in office. Occasional perks. Young culture in NYC office.

Cons

Very rigid Italian corporate culture. High power-distance ratio. Despite statements otherwise, Italian is the primary language spoken in the office. North America CEO and head of North American HR publicly state that to get promoted you need to move to Canada, Mexico, or rural Georgia. All management consists of Italian ex-pats who are rotated through to positions over eligible tenured local staff. You must give your life up for the company in order to get ahead.

Pros

Laid back atmosphere feels more like a family than a work environment. Management is very understandable to family matters and time off is given if needed.

Cons

Individual responsibilities are not expressly given or known. There is a lack of accountability for some of the management team.
