Pros

Pretty good work/life balance. Most people get in around 8:30am and leave by 6pm or so. Also, compensation is some of the best out there when compared to similar roles at other companies.

Cons

People are not good at making and sticking with decisions. People are afraid to take accountability for fear that it may come back to bite them. Some people in other departments that work closely with Marketing are overworked so it's hard to get things you need done in a timely matter at times.

. Freedom to choose/decide the best tools for the projects . Nice working environment . Work/family life balance . Pay is good and benefits is great

Cons

There are constant restructurings and layoffs. Many talented people got laid off. It's a big hit to the morale of the people staying.

Can gain a lot of experience in the pharmaceutical sector. Would guess that as a new person just starting out, a great place to learn.

Cons

Has gone from first to worst as a place for reps to work in record time. The culture of smart, consultative representatives has been systematically beaten down and/or replaced with a huge "promotional" force of micro-managed box checkers. For the reps, by necessity the customers (physicians) are last on a long priority list - first priority is always the internal Pfizer customer - Management. The sheer layers of management are astounding. Sad, really.
