Pfizer is a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry with a strong history of innovation and strength. Working for this company often commands respect and admiration. Our culture is one of strong technical knowledge, professionalism, and strong work ethic.
Cons
This is a company in transition. The loss of the Lipitor patent has been the focus of senior management's efforts, which has adversely affected their focus on the other products they have in line. Also, because of the way the organization is structure, it is very difficult to move up unless you are willing to relocate often to various sites. This can be difficult for those which a family and especially a working spouse.
