      Pros

      If you want to work for big Pharma, it is as good as any. The benefits are comparable to the other big companies.

      Cons

      Terrible management and no respect for people. Arrogance in attitudes that Pfizer is superior, when in fact, it is not. Training is riduculous, and drags out for years.

      Pros

      There are many talented people at Pfizer to make contacts and grow relationships with, but more and more of them are being laid off or jumping ship. Buyout packages have been generous, however. I do know of people who have moved fom temp to perm admin assistant to manager, and do on.

      Cons

      Low stock performance and massive layoffs have resulted in extremely low morale soon after Jeff Kindler was appointed CEO. There is little transparency and decisions are political vs. practical. There is a lot of talking and very little action or follow through. Communication is poor on a company-wide scale, and even within departments.

      Pros

      Company has a lot of resources and you are able to utilize the latest technologies.

      Cons

      The company lacks vision. Management bases their decisions on getting blockbusters, as opposed to finding looking for steady growth opportunities. They have still not dealt well with their change in size since the Pharmacia and Werner Lambert mergers other than closing research and manufacturing facilities.
