Top tier company with top tier pay and benes.

Cons

Since Pfizer took over its been nothing but downsizing, job elimination, outsourcing and a general lack of respect from management. Pharmacia was growing by leaps and bounds, and Pfizer came into town and stomped on prosperity.

Pros

Pfizer does offer a compensation package that is competitive with the rest of the pharmaceutical industry. They know how to make a dollar.

Cons

Pfizer is devoid of integrity (see May 2010 FDA Warning Letter to the CEO). The only thing they understand is driving the cost of goods as low as possible. If you work for a company they want to buy, get your CV updated. Their MO is to find anything they can to get rid of you without a severance. They care nothing about what happens to the people.
