Pros

Salary. Average salary in this mining town is around 80k for a reason. They pay a lot of money for little requirements.

Cons

Long hours, night shifts, rough on body bouncing around in equipment breathing dust. Poor morale in recent market downturn.

Pros

The employees are great to work with.

Cons

Benefits cut due to Obamacare, and bankruptcy. Lack of appreciation for long term employees. Pay used to be in line with market, because of small to no raises no longer at that point. Management cannot keep employees, some don't realize the amount of work other employees do, no recognition. Some departments can't seem to hire employees much less keep them putting additional pressure of current employees. Management works extra with new employees to train them as well as give them what they ask for but leave long term employees wanting.
