Good opportunities, good co workers, decent management team. goals and objectives clearly established, and identified. Has been in business for over 100 years, so they know what they're doing.

Cons

Coal is a bad word now, and that's all this company does, so they're in deep trouble, lots of turnover. Unfortunately, as in most companies, the able leave, and the incompetent are left to go down with the ship.

The people at the mine were very smart, kind, and fun to be around. The job set me up with good experience for future jobs. Challenging.

Cons

Sometimes too challenging. Everything felt extremely rushed, we didn't have the time or personnel to optimize operations. Also, I think the corporate personnel are very out of touch with the operations. They made some changes that hurt morale and didn't improve the company at all.
