Friendly environment; working with people keep on outdoors; delivering throughout product knowledge to the customers, and building loyalty with them by delivering excellent customer service; environmentally friendly brand!

Cons

As the shop is very small, there is only 1 person working full time, except for the manager & assistant manager, so that all other people work just part-time.

Pros

Patagonia offers great benefits. Free healthcare, cheap vision and dental and a very generous 401K match. We get 2 paid field days every year and fair amount of vacation time every paycheck.

Cons

Growing pains and poor management. Some departments need better organization and leaders to help propel the company and support its employees. The company is also living in the past and thinks everyone needs to have a desk in an office instead of working remotely.

Pros

Worked with amazing people that seemed to hold very similar beliefs about environmentalism and getting outside. Fun atmosphere and nobody took themselves too seriously, even including store managers and supervisors.

Cons

Holiday retail will never be fun at any store, though the "customer is always right" mentality does mean you really have to be on your toes during holiday seasons.
