Pros

Pretty much nothing if I compare Parexel to its competitors.

Cons

IT systems are one of the worst in industry. Project teams are inefficient due to chaotic company structure, right hand doesnt know what left hand is doing. Most of the work consists of completing redundant duplicit Excel sheets. Zero career development opportunities. How much time you spend sitting behind your desk is more important than client satisfaction or amount of work you do.

Pros

Competitive salaries and growth opportunities are just the tip of the iceberg. PAREXEL has a rich and diverse employee base with opportunities to engage and learn from other cultures. Collaboration and partnership are at the heart of what makes this company what it is!

Cons

Peaks and troughs of work / life balance, as with any company. Complex processes and systems, but leadership has recognized this and is working on making improvements.

All I see are unhappy employees. LAYOFFS are imminent.

Pros

Free Coffee. Flexible WFH policies. Pay is above average.

Cons

Very cumbersome blend of systems in place at PAREXEL. IT helpdesk has taken days to reset passwords, causing delays. Managers seem to be only concerned with looking good to their own manager, and have little or no interest in building a real team. Almost everyday there seems to be a fresh new wildfire to put out, leading to fatigue and just general apathy. Timezone differences among colleagues often require ridiculous meeting times for trainings or calls. Some days are nothing but meetings, and it feels like nothing gets done. I'm convinced money is likely the sole reason people remain here.
