Pros

semi casual dress code, good benefits, requires no intelligence (i.e. coming in hungover can still = a productive day)...actually, coming in unconscious could still be productive!

Cons

What a joke this place is. They sell services for huge dollars and pay the worker bees a pittance. The services they sell are usually pretty ad hoc, out dated, and labor intensive ( i.e. INEFFICIENT) on behalf of the employee ( at least in Imaging it is). Overtime is expected without any extra pay or recognition...but you do get crappy, supermarket cake once a month ( the IRA managers really seem to think this is a great benefit! Career development is nil, the experience you gain is barely transferable anywhere else...and dont expect a mentor in your supervisor, odds are, you are more educated than he is) Promotion is ridiculous; basically the biggest butt kisser who is willing to act like a trained monkey that plugs away making .img files all day without complaint or expectation of stimulating work, is the one who is going to get promoted. Rampant favoritism for the ones who arent willing to rock any boats and actually improve the company. But how can you improve the company when most of the supervisors are less educated/intelligent/scientifically and technically knowledgeable than their employees? The funny thing is, the management seems to actually believe that they are providing novel, state of the art services. The pay wouldnt be such an insult if they actually compensated for overtime....since its so expected.

Pros

Working from home, as long as the work is getting done. It pretty laid bad. There are some line managers, that will dump work. Even if I was three people I couldn’t get it done.

Cons

The endless self promoting of select individuals is enough to make you vomit. 99.999% of the staff go unrecognized for hard work and success. 0.0001% is recognized for no accomplishments nonsense culture things that don’t contribute to the job and it’s to their own promotions. They overdue the diversity and inclusion. Best move leaving this corporate culture

Pros

good work life balance and benefits

Cons

terrible leadership, inflicting a fear and do as I'm told toxic culture. Insecure account lead, and culture of gossip encouraged . HR poor, and not providing any support.
