-If you are not a political animal, you will not survive here. You will not get promotions, praise for a job well done, or any recognition and you will get 'passed over' etc.
-Training is practically non-existent. You basically get thrown 'into the deep end' and teach yourself the various systems or procedures. All this while trying to do your job.
-LEAP initiative was a total disaster. This was not well-thought out, planned or executed by senior management.
-No real or attainable goals are set for employees. Managers keep demanding more, but give you no guidelines or ways to achieve any goals.
-Management keeps changing procedures, so it can get extremely confusing and frustrating trying to keep up with the changes.
-No real balance between work and home. I received many e-mails from people working into the wee hours of the morning.
-Deadlines for some of the RFPs are ridiculous at best. This makes for long hours and a lot of tension.
-Trying to get resources lined up for a clinical trial is a joke.
-Temps or Contractors are treated as though they are a lower life form.
