      Nice people, looks good on resume

      Cons

      More controlling than you’d think, slow promotions and raises, RTO, constant layoffs, getting too political, culture is just off. They play favorites. My team was spread way too thin but expectations stayed the same. I recently started at another large media company and it’s a breath of fresh air. You’re just a number at Paramount sadly.

      Work-life balance Family oriented team Flexible hybrid schedule (not anymore. Now 5 days in office) Great benefits and cool perks On site gym and cafeteria No micro - managing on my team Understanding Executive team Can move around the company if the opportunity is there

      Cons

      Pay is OK Can grow into other opportunities but this lacked in my department Now in office 5 days a week starting January 2026 Multiple layoffs due to all of the mergers over the years and most recent acquisition
