Pros

The work environment still has remnants of when it was a startup company. With a young and casual atmosphere comes happy hours (every third Thursday is on the company) and fun inter office activities. CBS has many subsidiaries so you could potentially (though maybe not easily) try something new.

Cons

There isn't too much opportunity for growth. It's a big company but while I was there, it seemed like they hired more from the outside than they did from within. Also, it is hard to move around within the company (into other websites and mediums).

Pros

Young popular company, impressive on resume, fun culture, good experience. You can meet some really awesome people here. And the view from your desk is spectacular.

Cons

Low pay, poor management, no advancement. It takes forever to reach management. There is no advancement plan so it's basically about who you know and kissing ass to get promoted.

There are some talented people in this company. Most of these people are in the lower management and entry level positions and are eager to work hard and learn.

Cons

Boy's club. Low pay compared to similar positions in other companies. Poor communication from mgmt, between teams. Too many priorities so little gets done and projects accomplished aren't done well, and are inefficient from a resource perspective
