      Great experience, but not the end-all be-all

      Pros

      Great culture and people, very good benefits, (in sales) solid training and valuable work experience that will put you ahead of others in the industry, good opportunity for networking within company, valuable company name to have on resume

      Cons

      VERY political - you absolutely must play "the game" if you want to move up, (in sales) low base pay compared to other companies

      Pros

      The name 'MTV' carries weight. Great group of people to work with, sometimes you get to be a part of some great projects.

      Cons

      Small departments that are key to the success of the brand aren't treated as such. Unless you know the right people it takes too long to 'climb the corporate ladder.' Your voice is rarely heard.
