Energetic great people around you, and an always changing and dynamic set of challenges. departments tend to be like teams and depending of your group many foster a very creative nature.

Cons

huge company means a slow HR department (though very accommodating). Promotions usually come when people leave the company or switch to different roles.

Top notch benefits, amazing company culture, diverse work environment and many opportunities to grow from one department to another. A strong focus on the people and talent pool.

Cons

There are also many cons to working in such a "glamorous environment". There is little to no work-life balance. You are expected to do what it takes to deliver and nothing else in your life matters, such as: kids, marriage, your own personal health. It all comes at a huge personal sacrifice when you are working 90 hours / week and commuting in and out of Manhattan on a daily basis.
