Great experience. Fast paced, intense environment with lots of interesting opportunities.

Cons

Salary was very low. Extremely corporate environment. Work hours were the only type of hours, no time for a personal life.

The grounds of Paramount are gorgeous, it is magical just walking around the lot and seeing active production.

Cons

The office culture in my department was cutthroat, everyone was desperately trying to get ahead, and was willing to do whatever necessary to get there. Pay was VERY low, was the lowest paying job I have had in 9 years. Benefits were so-so. Upper management was harsh because the majority of them had been assistants at one time, and they therefore viewed assistants as "paying their dues". Environment was demanding, hours were long. Felt like boot camp, but made me a better assistant.
