Business Outlook
Pros
- Casual environment (jeans, K9 Fridays, Food trucks in the summer, monthly happy hours) - Exposure (great training for people new to digital media)
Cons
- Pay (definitely on the lower end for salary range. Not always open to negotiations) - Stretched thin (sometimes the work load is a lot depending on the department. I think most departments are permanently understaffed) - Promotions are difficult to come by. Most go to internal candidates but spots don't open up a lot so when they do, everyone goes for them. - Business vertical loyalty - sometimes they don't give you a chance if you don't have experience in the exact field
