Some great teammates and decent bonuses

Cons

Leadership at Panasonic Avionics, all former Boeing employees, are following Boeing’s lead and move all development work to India. ( which was disaterous at Boeing ) To ease the transition, they’ve created sweatshops working conditions in their Irvine office. It would be great if they understood that the productivity achieved by AI, guided by a few seniors devs , produces better results than the entire offshore team. But that’s Panasonic always 20 years behind the curve.

Company does reward their staffs with great tokens on top 13 month bonuses and Performance bonuses. Despite market conditions, still accessing to these benefits.

Cons

Expect recognition to go to certain “race” only. Culture is mostly old school.

- teams work in silo which can slow down common goals - manager(s) are not involved enough - higher level executive leadership is out of touch - product team can be reactive with customers requirements instead of working with engineering team on system level requirements to provide a sustainable solution for the long run
