Cons

Do not listen to your goals. Does not promote ability to explore new options. Invests in the wrong things. Always wants a quick solutions and not a long term solution. Growth opportunity is limited. Projects are selected for you and limit the chance of doing your own project.

Pros

The best perk of working here is that there is no fixed schedule. You can show up any time, work 8 hours, and leave. There are times for mandatory meetings but those can be worked around.

Cons

This company is very tight-fisted with money and extremely slow to promote. Pay starts lower than competitors and promotions are very slow. Most direct managers are just managers in title and do nothing more than approve timecards, with the real decision making for promotions and other considerations resting in management 3 or 4 levels above them. The company is also extremely bureaucratic and hierarchical. I would not recommend this company for anything more than temporary employment or as a steppingstone to something better.
