Great exposure to clients needs and making contacts at clients. Some of my best work projects, including the one project that is the most important, enjoyable of my career. I had the opportunity to travel the world for Pall.

Cons

If you are here after the age of 50,.start looking for another job. Management losing customer and employee focus. Not interested in retaining or rewarding key employees

Pros

The work life balance was good. Benefits and pay were close to industry standards. After 20 years of employment the employee had five weeks worth of paid time off. Very light with regard to middle and upper management micro managing at least prior to all the merger/acquisitions of customers.

Cons

There was no opportunity for upward mobility within the company if you worked in the field. Promotion generally came from within at the corporate office in Port Washington, NY. The sales force in both divisions of Pall Medical slowly eroded as the company began to sell commodity products which impacted profit margin immensely.
