      Great products, distribution reach, great technology, full of very smart people. Compensation is reasonably close to market, fair review process at many sites

      terrible approach to employee development, promises of career ladders never eventuated, ridiculous stress on line managers to commit to impossible targets, impossible matrix to work effectively in

      unethical behavior of some executive

      Pros

      Great environment of highly educated scientific professionals.

      Cons

      Had high level executives that unethically used previous employer's confidential information (witnessed 2 of them) and one that mistreated his own team (dissing team members in front of others at times during unscheduled meeting lasting over 4 hours and across lunch times). Unfortunately these individuals went unfiltered at hiring and their own manager closed their eyes. Hopefully the new management and its HR, as it got acquired will pay attention and monitor this closely.

      Smart, dedicated employees. Interesting projects.

      Cons

      Very limited opportunity for advancement in the scientific track. Management only interested in the bottom line, and increasing their stock value. Huge brain drain in recent years.
