      Good stepping stone into law enforcement

      Pros

      Allows you to network with law enforcement agencies. They definitely promote from within! Seniority doesn't mean promotion which is good for newer employees who are excelling.

      Cons

      Hiring standards are low. They sometimes put guards who are afraid of their own shadow in physical protection positions which endangers the client and the guard. Some guards pass physical defense and restraint training with poor knowledge and are unable to implement skills in actual situations. Some guard are placed into physical protection positions, but are afraid of conflict and have no physical defense abilities. Which endangers the guard, the public, and the client Diciplinary write ups seem to have no weight. No fitness requirements
