Pros

* Lots of OT opportunities if you want to work off your main site * Consistent hours * Paladin has many contracts and by extension, locations available * Low barrier to entry * United Steel Workers (USW) covered for union benefits [full-time only] * Can transfer between sites once you've completed 6 months at one * Experience is widely accepted for policing or future security roles

Cons

* Generally low pay (especially if you're a healthcare guard) * Cohesion and success can vary depending on your site team * Mobile guards have to pay for their own gas * Generally low pay prospects if you stay within the company long term * Rotating continental shifts can be difficult if you work farther away from your site
