Awful

Pros

Good pay and nice office environment.

Cons

They hire over qualified individuals from outside of their industry, that they know can perform as needed for the role. However, when it comes to promotions or lateral moves internally, they choose their pub buddies or people they 'know' instead of a candidate that has the required qualifications and has probably had a similar role elsewhere. Bonuses are also adjusted by managers personal feelings or opinions of their employee over actual achievements and abilities.

Pros

Shiny new offices. Decent Canteen. Some fantastic people to work with.

Cons

Difficult to get to office if you don't reside in the vicinity. Can take up to an hour to get through Dundrum village. Politics galore. Tournament Performance Evaluation processes. Ranking and Yanking - easy trigger finger when it comes to firing staff. Turn a blind eye to bullying - in fact deploy they it to 'edge staff out'. Nepotism rife. You WILL find lots of bankers and politicians kin in situ - you just need to know where to look. Yes men - you need to be one of the sheep - if you ain't - HIDE IT! Long hours. Triadic management rule. Distant, hierarchial and unapproachable HR department. Dominant male environment. Canteen bursting at the seams around lunchtime. Extremely difficult to exit building after 5pm - traffic build up can be horrendous. Fearful environment

Pros

Get to work with latest technology. Can influence technology decisions. Really good people and atmosphere. Feel like part of a team and brand as oppose to just working for one.

Cons

Seems to be a lot of politics. Feels like senior management doesn't make decisive calls. Canteen can be expensive, doesn't appear to be subsidised enough? Lots of secrecy around pay and reward with large differences even between team members.
