Pros

PPD has a great work/life balance and allows flexibility depending on your position. You will earn alot about the industry if you choose to. There is constant training on the industry and various tasks that will build up your experience and knowledge base.

Cons

You can work your butt off for recognition and get exceeds on your performance evaluations, but don't expect an immediate promotion!!

Heavy travel for CRAs Laptops are crap Poor utilization of technology, i.e. system cant handle Google search engine

A good 1st job out of college

Pros

At least at the Richmond site, there are a lot of fun, young employees so it's a good place to make friends. They are willing to hire and train recent college grads so you can get that "1-2 years experience" required for most other positions. The job is relatively easy and low stress and managment tolerates lots of slakcing off (so this is only a "pro" if you're looking for an easy job that you're not planing to make a career out of).

Cons

Senior management is not interested in the personal and professional growth of their employees; they are only concerned with their bottom line.
