Pros
The best part of being in IVRS at PPD is the team. It is by a good mix of people, most of which have great personalities. To me that's a plus also for the management as they have to pick the right people to add to the team. internally some complain about mgmt, but truth is they do a good job overall. They communicate virtually everything and sometimes too much (tough line to walk). They are patient, almost to a fault, and in all my experiences they always have your back. PPD is a great place to learn and grow and the teams are willing to work together. By teams I mean inter department teams like the non-designers in IVRS as well as those not in IVRS (such as Clinical Supplies, Data management, clinical, etc). I was not in any kind of rush to leave as I loved my time and team at PPD. There is a plenty of work at PPD and from my perspective are very honest at the interview about workload.
Cons
There are only a handful of negatives and none of which are necessarily can be controlled by the IVRS management. The first is compensation. It is competitive, but it is can be significantly bested. Another one is the workload. Again, it's the kind of problem you want to have form a business standpoint, but not from those doing the work. The training process leaves something to be desired. WFH appears to be based on performance or initial hire negotiations, but it is not 100% clear.
