Pros

Work from home option is widely used; benefits are reasonably good. There is not much else to recommended Oracle as a good employer; too much overhead and management levels.

Cons

NO pay raises. No advancement opportunities. Too many management levels; almost no real communication from upper management. Executives get high pay and stock options; workers get nothing. Stock purchase plan for employees is a joke. Morale is non existent at the employee level. We were told on the All-hands calls to quit asking questions about pay raises.

Pros

Lots of products to learn and Oracle will never go bankrupt nor will it ever get acquired. So all the things that you'll learn from work, you can use it forever.

Cons

Too many layers of products. As other companies get bought by Oracle, there are duplicate products for same industry and u need to constantly worry about restructuring.

Pros

You have a job at least. you can work from home, insurance is pretty good, keep your head down and don't complain, and they won't bother you

Cons

Pay really sucks, as does management; really, no real managment, just covering their you know whats. Now in the recession, they want to 'Lift' employees, and asking for ways to save money, but after years of no raises or bonuses, no one will speak on Calls. They have to bribie employees to ask questions on conf.calls now, after all the questions were about Raises, and they refused to answer those kinds of questions
