Pros

Flexibility: Oracle allows you to work from home one day a week and still keep your office. Some people arrive early in the day, others later.

Cons

Oracle does not seem to care about its employees. Oracle is unfair with their salaries: they pay newly-hired junior engineers more than people with many years experience. Raises and bonuses are rare and small.

Pros

Lots of opportunities to grow intellectually if you have the prudence and resourcefulness to identify the right work for yourself.

Cons

It is very likely you will get lost in tons of oblivion with the frequent release cycles where more time is spent packaging existing code than writing new code. This is the truth about OFSS.
