C-Level is gutless

Pros

The direct team I worked with was great

Cons

C-Level doesn’t care about their people. I was let go due to “financial problems” the same day the company gave away thousands of dollars of gifts to its staff. They made me sit through that just to be let go 4 hours later (5 days before Christmas). Additionally, no product direction, out of touch with pricing, benefits are trash, and no career advancement opportunities.

Pros

A great FinTech solution and good base salary. Can work from anywhere which is a huge plus

Cons

A very messy company to work for with little to no security as there are lay offs constantly. Huge pressure to preform and questioning weekly if you'll still have your job by the following Monday (as a BDR anyway)

Pros

- Ontop has one of the best company cultures I've ever worked for. Empowerment, autonomy, ownership and thinking in bets are at the backbone of how teams are structured. The company has a ver clear set of virtues that it promotes and lives by. My favorite one by far is Honor your Time, where everyone is responsible for respecting each others' calendar and time. Meetings last for 30 minutes, no longer, no less and downtime is religiously respected. - Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Ontop has a dedicated team within the People and Culture team that works to ensure that everyone feels welcome and supported, regardless of their race, gender, or background. They also offer ongoing training and education to help employees understand and address issues related to bias and discrimination. I would highly recommend Ontop to anyone looking for a great place to work. The company truly cares about its employees, and they go above and beyond to make sure that everyone feels valued and supported. If you're looking for a company that values diversity, encourages work-life balance, and offers opportunities for growth and development, then Ontop is definitely the place for you!

Cons

Ontop could do a better job at off boarding people. In a dynamic startup environment it is inevitable for team members to leave and rotate as the business evolves. The problem with fast growing companies is this is not always as smooth as you would expect it to be. Nevertheless I think the company is implementing changes to make sure employees have a dignified and respectful experience from onboarding to offboarding and transitioning to other jobs.
