Pros

Benefits for management, huge company, and a fun environment where you can afford to wear the clothes. Employees are sometimes allowed to buy items before the sale. Is extremely customer service focused and the company allows you to bend rules to satisfy the customer. Their technology for tracking business is great (upcoming sales, goals, overall updates). The company is trying to become more involved in the community.

Cons

The company is tight on hours & high productivity is demanded and sometimes unrealistic. They push their credit card with little incentive to the associates except the threat to fire or write them up. Moving up can be difficult you have to wait until someone is fired or quits. The company pushes activities and events with associates and management outside the workplace and it can become overwhelming .

Very Bad Experience

Pros

- fast paced - never boring

Cons

- the hours, time of day and quantity expected to put in - it all depends on WHO you work for as to what your experience will be. I signed on with an RM who I liked very much only to have that person replaced with a very unfair and "my way of the highway" one. The attitude definitely trickles down.

Pros

I like the people I work with, the discount is average or better for comparable companies, good part-time job.

Cons

Limited hours even for part-time work (which is fine, but when hired I was told I would be getting more), management not involved as much as would be helpful (mostly stay in the office unless needed out front), must get customers to sign up for Old Navy Cards which can sometimes be uncomfortable. If working shipment, must be quick and get everything out. Reprimanded when not done, but not given the help from management to put out quickly and in the right place. Job can be tedious. A lot of talk about being trained for more opportunities to get more hours and learn knew skills, but rarely follow through.
