Pros

1. Interesting and professional staff I worked with; 2. Good salary; 3. Work and life balance; 4. Opportunity to work with people of different backgrounds, nationalities, views.

Cons

1. Non-career organization. Maximum duration of service is 7 years; 2. No remuneration for seconded mission/staff members. They get BLA only. However, rich countries pay their secondees decent salaries; 3. Systematic late approval of the Unified Budget, as well as the Zero Nominal Growth policy for the last 5-6 years; 4. I noticed that the OSCE prefers to recruit internal candidates for international contracted posts. Many high qualified professional do not apply for such posts being confident tgat the will not get them.
