Pros

Company-wide focus on innovation, growth and capital investment in the NA region, ability to advance your career if you are capable, ambitious, and mobile. You can stand out here. The culture is slowly moving towards a more positive environment and aligning to larger-organizational processes to meet the needs of our next generation workforce and growing business. Excellent benefits and vacation policies, always seem to be looking to do something engaging for the workforce.

Cons

The historical Auto-Inergy division is a "good ol' boys club" which has many long term employees who are still living in the past and resistant to any change whatsoever (some of them are fantastic and have lots of knowledge, to be clear). When you have only worked at 1 company for the majority of your career, you don't know what you don't know, so try to listen, keep an open mind, be grateful, and learn. I am confident that most of the negative reviews on this website are those employees who didn't make it (or won't make it) because they are getting exposed as the company brings in employees from larger/different organizations with more bandwidth and different ways to solve a problem.

Pros

Not much other than a good work out.

Cons

Very poor management with favouritism within the company. Rude team leaders which broke many rules that JLR would no approve of. No friendly staff and always in a mood.

Pros

For skilled jobs and management, the pay is good (although still lower than most other automotive suppliers). Good career progression if you've got no morals or social life.

Cons

The pay is poor for operators, they have no concept of a work/life balance, managers bully people into working overtime (which can dry up without warning). There is a banked hours system in place where they send us home without warning and expect us to pay those hours back at the weekend. We are left to our own devices, until something goes wrong, at which point the management team turn up and look for a sacrificial lamb.
