      I am happy at my job, however the pay rate is below the starting rate of other production and manufacturing positions.

      Pros

      Three paid breaks, opportunities to learn and grow, great manufacturing experience and generally easy work. The more lines you learn, the better your chances are to work stable hours including overtime. Raises every year and UAW membership.

      Cons

      Not enough hours due to the chip shortage during the pandemic, pay seems to be beneath starting rate of other production operator positions.
