Its a strange place to work

Pros

Good pay, benefits, facilities. Good longevity if you can handle the environment.

Cons

Be prepared to bring work home with you. Be prepared to be in meetings all day. Felt forced to establish superficial relationships with peers, rather than letting working relationships and bonds develop naturally. Feels supremely political. Its all about who you know, and more importantly, who likes you. Be prepared to toot your own horn, and do it loudly and publicly, if you want the bonus. Lateral moves are fairly easy to make, but promotions are illogical and political in nature.

Fun company, good projects, nice business.

Cons

Very political, close-knit groups that are not readily accepting. If you are not on the same page as them socially, be prepared to be exiled.

The balance of work/life was excellent, benefits were great and I am missing the four day work week.

Cons

Very political if you want to move into management. It's all about who you know and with corporate in another state, first impressions can make your career.
