Digital Bottleneck

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

When the User Experience department goes from being an asset to a bottleneck, it is time to ask the tough questions. For example, several digital teams work on similar and sometimes overlapping initiatives within their siloed agile teams. In addition, digital leadership seems unaware and continues to pivot multiple times a month on what needs to be done ahead of the first quarter of the 2023 deadline.

Cons

The benefits, including bonuses and a 401K plan, outpace most rival companies

I Don't Recommend Working Here

Business Outlook

Pros

Friendly coworkers. Exposure to a variety of tools. Remote work. Learning/certs paid for.

Cons

Pay is below average for industry. Benefits are average. A 2-3% raise is not enough. Starting to experience more turnover in the team due to constant changes. If you are put under review, mgmt won't make a plan of action for performance improvement. They will ask you to make your own plan of action, and won't even be consistent in following up with you on it. Lack of effective and clear communication between lower mgmt/lead engineers and other engineers. If you make mistakes, don't be surprised to hear sarcastic statements instead of being told the actual problem and being left in the dark. Too many tools being used for the same thing.

Pros

Company is making more money than it ever has

Cons

Essential workers who were required to be at work during the height of the pandemic, helped make the reliability of the plant better than it ever has, gets thanked with a pizza and a less than cost of living raise.
