Pros

The safety culture is first and foremost in talks, actions and planning work at the mine. Colleagues are friendly and eager to onboard new staff. Compensation is on par with the market or better. Four day work week gives a long weekend each week.

Cons

The long weekend is great, but you do earn it. The forty hours in four days is a sprint and it might not be for everyone.

Pros

Great benefits, work/life balance, workplace culture. Great communication between local team along with great communication from corporate and division offices. From day one felt like I was included in team and kept up to speed with what all is going on locally and in industry. I was quickly provided with the tools and resources needed to complete my task. Everyone on my team has been more than willing to help me with any question I have so far.

Cons

Takes some time getting used to a more corporate workplace coming from a smaller privately owned company.
