Pros

Nutrien is a great company to work for ! Great wages to work close to home. The benefit package is great. I feel lucky everyday to come to work here, I plan to retire with Nutrien !

Cons

During the engagement surveys it seems like the same concerns come from the hourly workforce year after year, and little or no improvements are made. Needs to be better communication/engagement to improve the workplace.

Pros

The company offers a nice 401k match. The people are generally nice.

Cons

Management is totally scrambled and nobody can make decisions. The entire organization is political. The company as a whole is extremely behind the times in all aspects. Don’t expect to get work from home opportunities in Corporate as they are forcing everyone to return. Turnover is really high in the company. Career development opportunities are non-existent. Pay is pretty low. This is NOT a diverse organization either.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience at Nutrien. Recently, we did make a decision to transition employees back to working in our physical offices. Considering the focus on our culture, and the collaboration opportunities this presents, we are excited to see everyone again. To your other points, we continue to focus on improving a variety of experiences our employees have every day. With the addition of a dedicated senior leader focusing on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, a robust, multi-year strategy is being developed. Within this, dedicated career development opportunities for all employees has been rolled out, including leadership development for women, on demand resources for all employees, and employee resource groups. We are committed to this work and are tracking toward goals of 30% women in senior director roles by end of 2021 along with a KPI of 35% diverse hires, which is currently tied to leader compensation along with Nutrien Academy, Front Line Leader Training and a more robust EVP (Employee Value Proposition). If you’d like to continue the conversation, please reach out to us at yourvoice@nutrien.com
