Pros

Nutrien has a huge global reach that can be utilized on local level for business growth. They also have resources that a lot of companies don't have and can't have.

Cons

Nutrien was not organized in the onboarding process from my experience and therefore it was extremely clunky and a large time consumer. It has been extremely hard to track down who is who and where to go for seed treatment specific resources.

Pros

- Great benefits. - Stable company. - Digital leadership seems to hear and care about employee feedback. - Many new faces in upper level management that seem to be moving the org in the right direction. - Nutrien as a company is a beast, but it's great to work for a company that is cash positive and does not rely on seed funding or debt to pay its bills. - Great work/life balance, decent focus on mental health. - Focus on safety across the board means no pressure to go into the office during Covid. - Newly implemented (sorely needed) engineering job expectations/levels have helped Engineers understand their potential career trajectory. - Recent efforts to focus more on diversity.

Cons

- The digital team is very new and has grown tremendously since its inception in 2016 or 17. With that comes growing pains. - Digital org can feel disorganized. - Pay scale was a bit lower than average for Engineers until recently. - "Lower level" management could use guidelines for handling complex interactions with employees. - Diversity is still a bit of an issue, the digital org as a whole could use awareness training. - They still operate like a traditional "9-5" company. While hours are flexible and there is a lot of freedom to get things done during "office hours", it is not a place where you can choose to work the majority of your hours outside of the 9-5 ish time.
