Pros

>Supervisors allows you to own your business and work >Company has good benefits >Personal decision making is allowed >People acknowledge your hard work and it is fed up the chain to upper management

Cons

>Training is all hands on, no manuals >Mental health is slowly becoming a topic of discussion but I wish it was encouraged more to take personal days >HR rep does not know what most of their team(s) do for the business and how much decision making is in our hands

Pros

The safety culture is first and foremost in talks, actions and planning work at the mine. Colleagues are friendly and eager to onboard new staff. Compensation is on par with the market or better. Four day work week gives a long weekend each week.

Cons

The long weekend is great, but you do earn it. The forty hours in four days is a sprint and it might not be for everyone.
