Pros

good salary initially, above market compensation to trap you.

Cons

Very poor managers, No hardcore working only update of slides and running some data (cut paste job). heavy titles but no job contents, More you spend time in organization more you loose talent and become dormant. If anybody raise issue or concern, manager make sure he is out of the company in next 6 months... Nice building from outside but no content inside... worst than a KPO setup.... People join to enjoy Gym, Cafeteria, and other facilities... Highest level of favoritism, Politics etc etc..

Culture change needed

Pros

Novartis provides a lot of great benefits and for the longest time had a great culture. They have a lot of capital and some very good products.

Cons

In the past year, it has drastically turned from a team atmosphere to one or two people making all of the strategy and then monitoring to the nth degree. There is no collaboration of thought, no empowerment of thought/actions, just a command of execution and then when the execution is fulfilled but sales do not follow the blame only goes to the sales teams

Losing focus on people.

Pros

Many intelligent and nice people to work with. An interesting pipeline with regular launches. Opportunity to be creative, even if it's not always supported by budget or resource.

Cons

Managers with more interest in their career progression than their people. Short term focus to get to the next role. People burnt out with limited career progression. Going backwards, not forwards.
