      Pros

      The company is a good stepping stone. Collaboration across departments is commendable. The company has a good bunch of scientists.

      Cons

      A lack of motivation, compensation and teamwork is rampant. The company needs not better scientists, but better managers who are good scientists.

      Real emphasis on doing good science and meeting medical needs. Matrixed organization means easier to access upper management directly for discussion.

      Cons

      Career advancement opportunities from within seem slim - they do not appear to have promoted many from the internal ranks, rather looking for external people to fill key upper mgmt roles.
