Management and coworkers are great, I have personally been provided opportunity to grow and adapt my role within the bakery fairly quickly, the cake is incredibly delicious

Cons

The pay is not great and is not substantial for one's only source of income, promotions do not come with a pay raise, no benefits (e.g. health or dental insurance), may have to deal with difficult/rude customers on a daily basis

Pros

small teams working together, quickly to get the job done. There was a few "hanger-ons" within the team, but in general, everyone had a specific role, and they carried it out professionally. Nice interaction with other departments in open floor plan setup. Good drinking lot.

Cons

medium pay; zero redundancy package (1 week legal minimum); good, but not great managers; Not enough trust in the employees and their skills to try new avenues for revenue generating.

Sundays off. Discount on their product, if your into a pre-frozen cake from a couple months ago.

Cons

Low Pay, Zero Benefits, No Training, and Uncertain schedule, High turn over rate on all levels, employees randomly fired after gossip from management is spreed throughout the store. Most employees just walk out without notice. You know what time you will start the day but never know when you will be able to leave, making it hard to balance work and life. Employees are are very cliquey, gossipy, and rude which makes for an unfriendly work atmosphere.
